Today's Forecast

While today is not expected to be a washout, scattered thunderstorms are a decent possibility across the western half of the viewing area this morning. Going into the afternoon hours, most of this activity should subside and most of us will see a partly to mostly cloudy day with high temperatures in the low 80s. Tonight presents a slight chance of another round of thunderstorms occurring near and east of Sioux City, but otherwise it'll be a mostly cloudy and warm night in Siouxland. Low temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s across the viewing area. The sunshine and heat then make their return tomorrow along with the humidity as highs hit the upper 80s and low 90s. While there are a couple of isolated storm possibilities going into our Friday night and Saturday, this weekend looks dry and overall nice as temperatures cool down to the upper 70s by early next week.
